Instructor: Stefanie Chase
Instructor Bio: I am a native of South Carolina residing in Greenville. As a young child I began cross stitching, then started knitting about 20 years ago. I quickly realized that knitting in the SC summer months was not for me. This is when my love for needlepointing came to life. I have developed a strong love for needlepoint over the last 17 years and consider myself a self-taught stitcher. I have been teaching in-person classes throughout South Carolina and Georgia. I enjoy teaching beginner stitchers, those wanting to expand their stitching to decorative stitching beyond basketweave , technique/detailed stitching and stitches for desired effects utilizing hands-on, interpersonal instruction. In addition to teaching in-person group classes, I am also teaching private lessons live and via Zoom and mixed in-person group/Zoom classes. I have also been writing, developing and graphing custom stitch guides. My needlepoint philosophy is "Do more of what brings you joy".
